This is Bonnie Pierce, a 38-year-old mother of three from St. Paul, Minnesota. Her house caught fire. She and two of her children escaped, then realized her toddler was still inside.
Bonnie went back in, found the child, but could not get out. She shielded the child with her body. She died from her burns. The child survived.
A GoFundMe for her family raised about $42,000.
By comparison, more than $1,000,000 was raised on GoFundMe for Lindsay Clancy, who was charged with killing her children.
It is a sad reflection of the society we have become.

Tucker Budzyn is gone.

Eight years old. Golden retriever. Michigan. The dog a lot of us watched grow up from a clumsy puppy into the face half the internet knew by name.

Lymphoma. Chemo was working. They thought he was turning the corner. The tumor was in his intestines. When it shrank it left a hole. Infection took him overnight on September 2. Courtney and Mike did everything. It was not enough.

He spent his last weeks at the park. In the pool. Wrestling Todd in the backyard. Chicken at 9 in the morning and 9 at night because that is how the medicine went down. One last rollerblade run. That dog lived all the way to the end.

I followed him from the start. Not because he was famous. Because he was a good dog who made people softer for a minute in a hard world.

Rest easy, Tucker. You earned the love.

Lindsay Clancy had a "psychotic break." Which is why she planned the murder, researched her plan on Google, sent her husband away from the house, and then methodically executed her children over the course of several minutes. I never knew that you could plan your psychotic break like that. Just pencil it into your calendar. I'm learning so much about "mental health" from the morally bankrupt imbeciles on this site and TikTok. Thank you for this education.

I’ve wanted not to wade into this discourse because it’s so dark I almost can’t believe it’s real.

When your children are that young, you are their entire world. You are the person they run to when they’re scared, hurt, or confused. They trust you completely because they don’t yet know a world in which they shouldn’t.

Picturing those children watching their own mother take their siblings’ lives one by one, knowing they could be next, is a level of horror so dark I genuinely cannot comprehend it.

Watching women turn their sympathy toward the person who killed them, rather than the children whose lives she took, is profoundly disturbing.

It requires some sensational levels of delulu naivete to believe that merchants won't pass the MDR on to customers. Larger merchants might absorb them like they do for credit card MDR, but all the smaller everyday merchants who operate on wafer-thin margins will absolutely charge the customers or demand cash. Well most small merchants won't even accept UPI on RuPay credit cards fearing MDR.
