toxic ppl will gaslight you & try to make you feel guilty for calling them out on their shit bc they're way too comfortable in their ways. dont fall for this tactic & dont ever let anyone make you feel guilty for communicating the fact that you're hurt. you deserve to be heard.
Actually the more I think about this, the more I like the answer the movie actually gives. It’s not that the original bite left something unfinished, it’s framed as spiders going through multiple life cycles, and being caught between them makes them vulnerable before some kind of rebirth happens.
So Peter’s mutation isn’t some biological glitch years later, it’s a whole new stage his body’s entering, and what triggers it isn’t science, it’s his own isolation and grief. His AI literally says it, the longer he stays alone, the more spider and less human he becomes. I think that’s such a smart way to make a superhero’s biology actually mean something emotionally instead of just being comic book mechanics.
1 thing abt me i CANT FAKE THE FUNK with nobody . sorry not sorry 😌 if i feel some type of way you’ll know without me opening my mouth saying anything.
Nothing smart about risking your life to have a baby by a ugly nigga who cheats and could possibly bring you back some shit. that shit sounds beyond desperate and pathetic y’all would let a nigga whoop yall ass if he give you some money after.
I saw a lady sharing that her man paid all the bills while she went to school and raised their kids. Now she's a registered nurse, and she's holding things down while he studies engineering. That's what partnership looks like.
Honestly, this is actually one of the better-written parts of the movie if you really pay attention. His Spider-Sense only comes back because he stopped suppressing his powers, so if he had kept the inhibitor on, he wouldn’t have sensed the shot at all and Jean would’ve been the one hit instead.
That moment isn’t just about him accepting himself, it’s literally what saves her life. I feel like people miss things like this because they’re focused on big twists, but this is really solid writing hiding in plain sight.
if u offer me a sincere apology & change ur behavior, I'll never bring up our past issues again. But if no apology was given and ur still repeating mistakes, u can't ask me to stop mentioning the past. The "past" is actually the present if u haven't changed.
