We live in a world, where people are strangely comfortable at compromising and cribbing, but just not comfortable with what they really want

People who spend long periods of time at home and slowly lose the desire to go outside often think they're just resting. But psychologically, many of them are experiencing something called mental rumination. It's a state where the brain starts slowing down while the number of thoughts inside keeps increasing and the motivation to do anything slowly disappears. The mind gets stuck in the past, worries about the future and burns itself out. This isn't laziness, it's a nervous system stuck in survival mode. And the longer it lasts, the more distant normal life begins to feel. And the difficult part is that you usually can't escape it through one massive burst of motivation. And sometimes, recovery starts with just one small step.
Data privacy in India is a joke. Every third person knows exactly when my car insurance is due for renewal and has my phone number. Each year, I get 100s of messages and calls from different companies selling car insurance. (Yes, DND, etc is done!).
Anyone else face this?
Worst part about living single is that most of the time there is never a decent cooked meal in the fridge when you’re really hungry. That’s when you reach out to bread, maggi, or any rubbish combo.
Or you eat one or two days old food from the fridge. 😭

A 20-year-old man was arrested in #Bhopal on Sunday evening for allegedly kidnapping a one-and-a-half-year-old boy from a hospital canteen and sexually abusing him at a nearby abandoned structure.
The mother later tracked the man down and rescued the child with help from passersby. Acting on a complaint lodged by the toddler's mother, the police registered a case against the man, under sections pertaining to kidnapping and sexual assault under the BNS and the POCSO Act.
