पत्रकारिता के दौर की मेरी सहयोगी और वरिष्ठ पत्रकार पायल मेहता जी के आकस्मिक निधन की खबर ने भीतर तक झकझोर दिया।
इतनी जल्दी और इस तरह किसी अपने के चले जाने की खबर को स्वीकार कर पाना बेहद कठिन है।

पत्रकारिता के सफर में हमने अलग-अलग मीडिया संस्थानों में साथ साथ काम किया। खबरों की आपाधापी, भागदौड़, चर्चाओं और काम के बीच बनी हमारी कई यादें आज आंखों के सामने तैर रही हैं।

खासकर “पंचायत विद रिपोर्टर्स” शो में पायल के साथ काम करने का अनुभव और उससे जुड़ी यादें हमेशा मेरे साथ रहेंगी। वह दौर, साथ काम करने के पल और उनकी सहजता को भुला पाना आसान नहीं होगा।

ईश्वर दिवंगत आत्मा को अपने श्रीचरणों में स्थान दें और उनके परिवार, मित्रों एवं शुभचिंतकों को इस अपार दुःख को सहने की शक्ति प्रदान करें।
