Chief Minister Vijay is visiting his constituency today.
What's so unique about it?
Media reports that there is not even a single poster or banner.
It is heartening to read this.
His party members should follow his example.
If the ruling party stops this practice, no one else would dare to do it.
From what I see on social media, banners and posters have been removed from most parts of the city. Walls are also being cleaned.
On top of that, someone sent me a video clip. It shows ECR Saravanan, the banner man of Chennai, addressing party cadres and instructing them to use the minimum number of banners without disturbing the public.
A welcome development.
"If anyone demands a bribe just say you won’t pay it and take my name. Just drop the name of that officer directly to me. I will take care after that."
— Thalapathy Vijay, Tamilnadu's CM
In his speech today at a public meeting in Karur, Chief Minister Vijay strongly declared that if anyone, whosoever it may be, asks for a bribe, people should firmly refuse it, assuring them that they have the full support of the Chief Minister of the state on their side.
I see this speech going viral.
As I have been saying, Chief Minister Vijay’s intention to eliminate corruption in Tamil Nadu seems genuine.
With this direct encouragement and assurance he is providing to the public, there is definitely a strong possibility of eliminating corruption in the years to come.
The public and the state need to work together on this.
A corruption free society will be a prosperous society.
Yesterday I sold my house in Kodaikanal . This was my third property deal in twenty five years in the state , and for the first time the transaction was smooth , people helpful and no money asked for . Tamilnadu is changing for the better whilst Karnataka remains the most corrupt state in India @TVKVijayHQ@DKShivakumar
If you truly want Chennai to become the next Singapore, the first step is simple: ban posters and banners. They don’t beautify the city, they make it look cluttered and ugly. Time to clean up our streets, @TVKVijayHQ.
@The_Designnn@T_Investor_ In Chennai, you can see it in many shopping malls food courts and priced very competitive.
Usually other brands 1litre of packaged water costs 20/-
but campa sure costs 10/- and when you buy 2, its just 15/- .
When someone offers you money at half price, the question is never whether to take it. It is why they are selling. ICICI Bank is planning its first dollar bond in nine years. The discount behind that decision deserves your attention. A thread.
Just came to know the attacking kid is just 2.5 year old. I am shocked.
The way he looks at the door, continues to attack.. enjoying the attack.. shows his parvarish.. the parents raising a criminal..
the parents of the kid must be arrested and the environment around him must be verified..
This amount of rage in a 2 year old kid is shocking!
முதல் கட்ட வெற்றி!
