Rajin2 aktif di LinkedIn. Ni contoh aku dapat opportunity ke Spain.

Got my current job kerja di Jerman from LinkedIn juga.

Yang ke Spain ni aku reject in focus for other plan.

(This is a long read)

My strategy and experiment (free2 aku bg tips):

1. Buka je LinkedIn, tak perlu post selalu tapi rajin2 follow/like/share community sana.
2. Boleh set open to job, but set recruiter sahaja boleh tengok.
3. Update portfolio bagi solid (boleh check my linkedin untuk contoh https://t.co/bf7y4WhSpK, baca habis dulu sebelum tekan)
4. Add impact & value kau dah achieve dalam company
5. Experiment dengan post format (sebelum ni aku try image posting, skrg experiment dgn text posting)
6. Kalau orang dpt achievement, sama2 celebrate dia
7. Jangan mohong, semua yg kau tulis kat profile WILL get asked during interview. So I only put what I'm confident answering, and exclude some PNC info too.
8. Bagi value juga. Don't just take, give as well.

Sekarang ni aku dapat 2 month trial LinkedIn, untuk value Euro berbaloi, tapi harga RM mahal. Kau rajin aktif, ada masa kau dpt offer trial. Yg ni pun aku ada plan aku sendiri.

Untuk opportunity luar negara, pay extra focus on Algo/Communication/System Design/Behaviour. Interview dia memang gila susah, aku lepas pun syukur haritu. Nampak mudah tapi ada banyak effort aku letak behind the scene.

Dapat opportunity satu hal. Interview process itself and getting the job, another hal. Maybe aku share some other posting.

LinkedIn ni cheesy, especially kalau salah follow orang (or kau tak follow orang lansung). Banyak repetitive. Post tahun lepas pun tiba2 boleh viral.

But all those aside, if it can give you experience and put food on the table, why not.

Orang akan kata ini luck. But under the hood, macam2 kejadian & sacrifice to make it happen alhamdulillah. So be prepare for that.

Ramai je lagi layak daripada aku, I know that, but I won't undermine my own hard effort & struggle, takkan semua nak cerita kan haha. So letaklah usaha anda sendiri dan serah pada Allah.

Dan jgn tengok orang profile biasa, kau ingat dia biasa ayam. Ada je pro yg tak aktif di LinkedIn. Cumanya kita ni Asean, kena lah market diri lebih dari orang lain.

Ingat, ini semua usaha. Dah dapat jangan sombong lupa diri, ingat Allah. Allah bila2 boleh beri & tarik rezeki ni, ni yg aku selalu pesan family aku.

For now, think deep before jumping abroad. Grass always greener on the other side, true, but tak bermaksud you won't gain any gems.

Selagi di bumi Allah, usaha selagi boleh.

Plus, dengan perang apa semua. So keep your eyes peeled.
