Here is the news. Tabor is $1.8 million in the hole, and several cuts have been made. The education and English departments have both lost a faculty. Most relevant to this, though, is they have cut Dr. Brad Vogel.

@ShortsKingJoel 1. Yes, I looked up the national average in order to set up the tweet. Not intended to be a comment on Tabor's tuition.
2. After reading the FAQ, you're correct. A projected budget shortfall is not the same as debt. Thank you for the info.

Dr. Sheila Litke, an excellent pianist and teacher, has been cut to half time and was offered a half time administrative job to make up for it. Yes, that's a person with a doctorate doing secretary work.

Yes, the Dr. Vogel who has directed the choir since 1999. Yes, the one who has created an unparalleled standard of excellence in the music department. Yes, the one who conducted in Carnegie Hall literally two weeks ago.
