Interactive art projects feel hugely risky to launch, because if you don't get the interaction, the project ultimately fails to launch. Unlike a standalone piece of art which can be complete whether someone engages with it or not.

I could let the vandal corpse project quietly sit, but the problem is I believe in it too much. it's simple. it's fun. it represents the core value of decentralization.

So I'm going to do something. I'll set aside .12 eth in order to buy the first artwork completed on the site that I did not create more than 1 quadrant. If I created 1 quadrant then I will donate my share.

How does vandalz corpse work?

It's a blind drawing game. a page is split into four. you see the edges of the quadrants next to the one you're drawing in. when 4 quadrants have been filled, the collaborative image is revealed, and anyone is able to mint the image, either as a 1-1 or limited edition.

mint proceeds and royalties get split among the four artists who contributed quadrants, with a small percent going to the site maintenance fees. MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOGGED IN WITH YOUR WALLET CONNECTED when you contribute in order to receive your share.

Vandalz are free to vandalize over the completed image prior to minting. If a piece is vandalized prior to minting, any vandalz also get a cut of the proceeds and royalties, but the bulk of the proceeds still go to the initial 4.
