Dollar Spot is still a relatively new disease to the UK, but as temperatures and humidity increases so does the risk of an outbreak! This fungal disease is spread through small bits of mycelium, moving in water or spread on shoes, golf equipment or turf machinery. The symptoms: 

❌ Tanned spots around 2-5cm in diameter in highly managed turf such as tees, fairways and greens
❌ Hourglass shaped lesions seen on the leaf blade on closer inspection
❌ Spots can coalesce and wipe out large areas

As with most diseases, moisture management is key to reducing the possibility of an outbreak.
