after reading all that mess, i'm honestly speechless. but just because we've been silent here doesn't mean we've been okay with the hate.
you can't provoke a fandom that's been dealing with constant hate and fan wars for years when they know how to clap back. what did you expect? what did you expect from clurong? that they'd sit there, read every hateful comment, and applaud it? of course people are going to defend what they care about.
bai lu already has enough on her plate, yet you still want to pile on more. did you ever stop to think about the cast and crew who worked so hard on this drama?
and asking for proper treatment in a female-centric drama your fave willingly signed up for? that's a bit ironic. if equal focus was always the expectation, then maybe a female-led project wasn't the right fit from the beginning.
as for the promotions, from what i personally observed, the second lead appeared to put in more visible effort. the vip screening also seemed to receive a lot of support from lurongs, lulu's friends, and the brands she works with. i didn't personally see the same level of support from the other side, and that was disappointing.
and now that people are calling out your side's behavior, suddenly it's victim mode? during the drama's broadcast, you were only focused on smearing the female lead. i thought it was just fan behavior, but now it turns out they were even in contact with the team? even saying your gege didn't even watch the drama. if that's true, it doesn't exactly come across as strong support for the project.
i'm happy they were paired because i've always wanted bai lu to act with someone around her age. i'll always appreciate the memories we got from it, but now, never mind.
i don't really have much left to say, just thank you.
so yeah, we're done here.
#bailu's team has responded to the “tea-drinking stand-in” rumor that the other side has been spreading.
since everyone keeps talking about the tea-drinking, here's the actual footage.
💬 who would you say are the most top 3 self-disciplined members of the mo li (#thefirstjasmine) cast?
lin muran: definitely lujie (#bailu) is top one. she has a massive workload, yet she approaches every single scene with complete dedication. that includes managing her fitness and posture. she even uses a posture corrector and things like that to fully immerse herself into her character.
for top two, i'd have to go with cai zhengjie. he hits the gym constantly. sometimes we'll go play ball or hang out. he's also super strict when it comes to managing his diet. i actually work out with him quite a bit.
and as for top three? i'll give that to myself!
Host: In July, what is something that BaiLu will definitely do?
#BaiLu : Uh... basically, I'm always working in July. Usually filming a drama.
Host: Oh, so in July, you are usually outside under the scorching sun? (laughs)
BaiLu: Yes, yes. And every time I film in the summer, it’s always a period drama. Yes. The drama MoLi which is currently broadcasting, was actually filmed last summer.
Host: Wow, MoLi brings back beautiful summer memories. So, that's what you definitely do in the summer.

Some people are just born to radiate beauty wherever they are. Even just standing there makes a scene feel like a movie and it is the destiny of the camera lens to capture it.

🦊: what was your first impression of #bailu, and how did that change later on?
lin muran: when i first met her, it might have been because of her character, ye li... and how lu jie was in that role. but at first glance, she seemed a bit aloof. you know, kind of cold and effortlessly cool. but as we got to know each other, i realized she’s actually really fun and hilarious. plus, she treated me incredibly well.
🦊: did she win you over with snacks?
lin muran: yeah! she always had so many good snacks. she'd bring a bunch to the set and share them with the cast and crew.
🦊: so, what exactly makes her so “fun”?
lin muran: i’d say it's the contrast. she has one mode when she's filming and a completely different mode the second they wrap.
🦊: ah, so she's famous for snapping in and out of character instantly?
lin muran: exactly. she's incredible at it.
