@roserev2@BridgendCBC It’s interesting how the green of the tall grass and the sight of flowers relaxes the brain and produces endorphins. The mown short grass produces a stump in thinking and feeling. We need to consider what we are doing to our minds as well as the planet.
@KatyjaMoran Ha! Well done!! ✊ We’re good! Smashing the homeschooling (literally) in combination with the epic take back of nature, disappearing down the rabbit holes of it all. Hope you’re good awesome lady. Xx
@KatyjaMoran I just had an awesome 30 mins on the bike-just pouring a glass of cold Chardonnay. (Run & G&T-you’ll appreciate it more!) Enjjjjoy!! X 🍹
Day 4 in the heronry.
The mother returned in a grand entrance with her mate, both with echoing guttural squawks. It was the first time I’d seen him. They performed a small ritual and stood over their chicks as proud parents.
The littlest chick is dead. 😰 @ChrisGPackham
@ChrisGPackham @SIBirdClub A new addition to the heronry tonight! That’s five nests now! The wind was up and the weather cold. Will the little one survive? Especially Unbearable watching it being pecked tonight. Are they trying to kill it - more food for them or toughen it up?

@SIBirdClub I held my breath as I watched the mother stretch her wings many times this morning and fill them with the warmth of the sun. Her chicks behind her fed and squawking amongst themselves. I was relieved to see the littlest chick. More tomorrow.

@ChrisGPackham@IoloWilliams2 Who knew Herons are so fierce as well as beautiful! During lockdown I’m filming the story of this family of Herons every day. Magical to watch as well as sometimes difficult. Will the little one survive the onslaught of her siblings..
@finnbeales I wish she’d let him continue. Who knows what comparisons he would’ve drawn. Could’ve been (another) rich moment in history of clueless entitled buffoon behaviour.
One of the many films I made for multi award winning Leadership company Call Of The Wild this year. This is a little promo for a section of their their highly successful Leadership Training program for client… https://t.co/L9f5HWWeqN
