Whenever I find myself getting upset over a situation or a loss, I remind myself over & over again of this ayah in Surah Ad Duha & it instantly puts me at ease:

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَى
And your lord is going to give you. And you will be satisfied.

رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Rabbir hamhuma kama Rabbayani Sagheera.

”My Lord! bestow on them Thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood”.

May Allah swt Grant long and healthy life to all parents.
