I think it's a safe bet things are going to get worse and tight. Look for more travel restrictions, a prolonged closure of schools, significant layoffs in various sectors. It's going to get very, very rough for many. But let's hang together! Buy things from small biz and eateries
@JohnCleese This may be because the Canadian hospitality industry is experiencing a labour shortage that has businesses struggling to keep up with service levels they want to provide. Hopefully you enjoyed your visit and were able to experience some of the city's great culture&food.
