“You know, like I think when you're... for me, it's I'm mostly a lyricist, so like, you know, words are relevant every day. So I can find my... you know, maybe not every day at the moment, but every other day, there'll always be... there'll be little phrases or some things that kind of enter my mind that I think, 'I'll put that in my notes, and I'll come back to that later.'

This is always a nice time before you really start thinking specifically about what it is you're about to do. I also don't know when the record's going to be—I haven't really got to anything like that, but I've just started the thoughts of maybe what it might sound like, what it might feel like, what I liked on the previous record, what I might want to do better, etc.

I've only really got to that—only just got to that stage. Um, but I also... that was something I took from this last record, is really enjoying the time of crafting it and not just starting the... um, not feeling the time pressure from—from day dot.
Um, so... I don't know. I don't know exactly when or what. I'm—I just know that I'm really excited. I think this is going to... I don't know if I've ever made a record in this kind of head space. I feel—it feels very freeing, to how I've been in the past.”
