Prime Minister @andyburnham and Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband : how much longer will Britain remain silent?

For three years the father of my two sons, and Pakistan’s former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has been brutally penalised by his political opponents, in a personal vendetta by Army Chief, Asim Munir,  which according to the UN,  amounts to torture and which  is now taking a potentially fatal toll on his physical and mental health. 

He has endured 3 years of solitary confinement. For nearly ten months now his family has been denied contact with him. He has been deprived of the most basic human contact, denied access to books, lawyers and doctors.

The international human-rights standards are unequivocal. Under the UN’s Nelson Mandela Rules, solitary confinement lasting more than 15 consecutive days is prohibited and amounts to torture.

He has endured this treatment not for 15 days, but for three years.

Pakistan’s own Supreme Court has now intervened: ordering comprehensive  medical treatment, access to his personal doctor, regular family visits and twice-weekly calls with his sons.

Yet those orders are being defied.

This is no longer simply a Pakistani political matter. It is a human-rights emergency.

He has deep and lifelong ties to Britain. He studied at Oxford University, captained Oxford University cricket and spent years playing county cricket in England. His relationship with this country stretches back more than half a century. His charitable activities were internationally recognised, and  include building the only free cancer hospital in Pakistan as well as a university.

His sons, my two boys, Sulaiman and Kasim, are British citizens. They have been forced to watch their father’s health decline from thousands of miles away, prevented from visiting him, denied visas, publicly threatened by government officials with arrest themselves, and even denied court-mandated regular phone calls. 

I have repeatedly appealed to the UK government to intervene. Purported attempts at back channelling have evidently failed. The previous Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy informed me in writing that Britain would not  intervene if my sons, British citizens, are arrested when they travel to Pakistan to visit their father. 

@FCDOGovUK: Britain must now speak out publicly and unequivocally. Demand that Pakistan comply with its own Supreme Court;  restore Imran Khan’s medical access, his right to see his family, end his prolonged isolation and uphold his fundamental human rights.

Pakistan is a Commonwealth country. Britain has a long and proud tradition of standing against arbitrary detention, inhumane treatment and the denial of fundamental rights. Those principles mean very little if we invoke them only selectively and neglect them when inconvenient.
This an appeal to the new Burnham government  to please now do the right thing.

ہم کسی بھی ایسے یک ��رفہ میڈیکل بورڈ کو قبول نہیں کرتے جسے رجیم نے تشکیل دیا ہو اور جو ان کے زیر نگرانی کام کرے۔ہم کسی ایسی میڈیکل رپورٹ یا نتائج کو بھی قبول نہیں کرتے جو اس بورڈ کے زیرِ نگرانی ترتیب دی جائے۔ یہ امر ہمارے خاندان کے لیے شدید باعث تشویش ہے کہ عمران خان کے ذاتی معالجین کی جانب سے تجویز کردہ ماہر ڈاکٹروں کے بورڈ میں اس تمام عمل اور شمولیت کی مخالفت کیوں کی جا رہی ہے۔

عمران خان کے ذاتی معالجین کے زیر نگرانی علاج کی تجویز کو مسترد آخر کیوں کیا جا رہا ہے؟

عمران خان کے اہلِ خانہ کی موجودگی پر قدغن آخر کیونکر لگائی جا رہی ہے؟

آخر ان تمام معاملات پر اس قدر شدید مزاحمت کیوں کی جا رہی ہے؟

کیا یہ سب کسی چیز پر پردہ ڈالنے کی کوشش ہے؟

This is a great read if you are building complex applications with Claude Code and Codex.

Most AI coding agents can generate a frontend.

But building a real full-stack application is a completely different story.

The gap between generating a landing page and shipping a working app with a functional backend, database, and API layer remains wide.

Most coding agents default to mock data, fake endpoints, and frontend-only implementations.

But real-world web development requires all three layers working together.

This new research introduces FullStack-Agent, a multi-agent system designed for end-to-end full-stack web development with two key innovations: Development-Oriented Testing and Repository Back-Translation.

The system uses three specialized agents. A Planning Agent generates structured frontend and backend designs in JSON. A Backend Coding Agent implements server logic with a dedicated debugging tool that sends HTTP requests and validates responses. A Frontend Coding Agent builds the UI against real backend APIs with a tool that monitors terminal and browser console errors dynamically.

Development-Oriented Testing validates code during generation, not after. Each agent gets real-time execution feedback, catching integration failures as they happen rather than at the end of a long generation chain.

Repository Back-Translation solves the training data problem. An information-gathering agent reads real open-source repositories and extracts development patterns. A trajectory agent then reproduces those repositories from scratch given only the extracted plans, generating high-quality training examples grounded in real codebases.

The results on their FullStack-Bench (647 frontend, 604 backend, 389 database test cases): FullStack-Dev achieves 64.7% frontend accuracy, 77.8% backend accuracy, and 77.9% database accuracy. That's an 8.7%, 38.2%, and 15.9% improvement over the strongest baseline respectively.

After training a Qwen3-Coder-30B model on 2K crawled and 8K augmented trajectories, frontend accuracy improved by 9.7% and backend accuracy by 9.5% in just two rounds.

The bottleneck in AI-assisted web development isn't frontend generation. It's building functional backends and databases that actually work together. FullStack-Agent closes that gap with execution-grounded testing and real-world training data.

My father has been under arrest for 845 days. For the past six weeks, he has been kept in solitary confinement in a death cell with zero transparency. His sisters have been denied every visit, even with clear court orders allowing access. There have been no phone calls, no meetings and no proof of life. Me and my brother have had no contact with our father.

This absolute blackout is not a security protocol. It is a deliberate attempt to hide his condition and prevent our family from knowing whether he is safe.

Let it be clear: the Pakistani government and its handlers will be held fully accountable legally, morally and internationally for my father’s safety and for every consequence of this inhumane isolation.

I call on the international community, global human rights organisations and every democratic voice to intervene urgently. Demand proof of life, enforce court ordered access, end this inhumane isolation and call for the release of Pakistan’s most popular political leader who is being held solely for political reasons.
