First of all, congratulations to Argentina because they are a great team. But if I’m honest, I don’t think the match was decided only by football.

The referee’s decisions had a huge influence on the game. We fought for every goal we scored, we defended with everything we had, and then some of the biggest moments seemed to go against us. When players feel they are no longer competing against only the opposition but also against the decisions, it becomes incredibly frustrating.

The hardest part is knowing how much this group sacrificed to get here. We represented our country with pride, we believed until the final whistle, and I don’t think the players deserved to leave the tournament with so many questions about the officiating.
