Me last night: man this gyro really gave me the shits
Me less than 24 hours later eating leftover gyro for lunch: how could this have happened to me twice?!
My generation says “No worries” instead of “you’re welcome” to 1) show that doing a favor for someone doesn’t need to be a transactional thing and that we’re happy to help, and 2) because if they really knew how worried we actually were, they’d never ever talk to us again ever.
sorry I missed your call, 95% of the calls I get are from robots trying to steal my credit card information so this entire method of communication is now dead to me
This is what I picture in my head whenever radio stations say they have “the best mix of 80s, 90s, and today”. It’s been today for 21 years. You can’t keep getting away with this.
IDK who needs this but: You don't have to finish things. Not liking the book you're reading? Put it down. You don't have to keep eating just because there's still food on your plate. You can turn off the movie 20 minutes in. It's okay.
100% this, I fully intend on wearing a mask post-pandemic if I'm not feeling well but have to be in public for any reason. Or if there's a ton of pollen/pollution. Or if I just don't want to be recognized in public or told to smile.
It finally happened: was in a conference call and my cat came in. I said "Hey bud, how's your butt? Need scratching??" to said cat. I was not muted, everyone definitely heard me. Ope.
@strigif0rme It really is just Basic all over again. While some people have applied it to male-centered interests/aesthetic, at it's foundation, it's just a way to make fun of people and I just can't get behind it. LET PEOPLE LIKE THINGS IN PEACE.
I'm relieved that fully vaxxed people like myself can stop wearing masks in indoor space, however I will continue to wear a mask, as I do not want to be confused for a Conservative.
