This is my first glitch series. Not only as an aesthetic, but as a symptom, because dreams rarely hold a fixed form: they fragment, lose their shape, and slip when you try to make sense of them.
A message from my brain, and the noise around it.
my solution to badly needing a hair cut is just to wear cute caps and now i made myself a custom one so i can continue to delay spending too much money on a haircut

This is probably one of my favourite GIFs in the Pinsnake emoji series by Waffles. The series is built entirely from emojis, those tiny pre-fabricated symbols we use as templates for our own emotions and reactions.
This specific work is inspired by the selfie emoji. To be honest, I didn’t even know a selfie emoji existed, which feels strangely telling, considering how much of social media has become a continuous performance of the self.
Waffles remains one of the best kept secrets in this small art bubble, tirelessly searching for new forms of digital painting.
Thanks @sabatobox for accepting my offer!!

Just realised I've been sharing my work for a pretty long while now… without ever properly introducing myself.
I'm Agathe / Ismene.
Part of me is a writer (curious souls will find their way to my work — mostly in 🇫🇷), but you most likely know me as Ismene
