The podcast for employers and employees who think it's time to talk about the failings of workplace culture - and how we can do better. Host: Tanya de Grunwald
How did HR get ‘trans inclusion’ so wrong? The reckoning starts today, as we expose deep ideological capture at the HR industry body @CIPD - and its CEO’s friendship with trans activist Katie Neeves. It’s a scandal (involving knickers & the police!) 🧵(1/3)
Something nasty happens in a women's space at work, because a biological male is in there. OK, he was in there lawfully, but a load of new problems have been created for the employer. Time and money on police, lawyers and care for the affected staff member. Removing the man. Valuable staff quitting. Team morale dropping. Loss of focus. Lack of innovation. Reputational damage (external comms). Reassuring staff and clients (internal comms). Rebuilding brand. The list is endless...
Australia! Who should we talk to about how your gender laws are (not) working in Australian workplaces?
We're going global - and keen to cover Down Under. How are employers reacting to the latest news? And have your politicians considered the business angle at all?
Let us know how we can help move conversations forward...
Our latest episode: 'No Debate' Is Dead - What Next?⬇️
@womensvoicesau Looking for someone who understands the business perspective - how problems are showing up and whether employers think it's workable? Eg. Obvious insurance risks, plus looming problems with retaining and recruiting women. It's not 2019... or is it, in Australia?
@UltraInterested No doubt. But women with options will leave. And younger women will factor it into their career choices. Prediction: In 3? years, Australia will face a nursing crisis... by which time it will be too late to fix it.
Nobody is saying it should be all white people. But we've wandered into strange territory when clients are insisting that suppliers demonstrate tick-box diversity or they won't get the contract - don't you think? (Also note the absence of older people in this pic - most seem under 40. Zero middle-aged white women!)
No joke - this is how the UK Govt demands your company looks, if you supply goods or services to them in 2026
Ooh - an idea for a future podcast episode: 'Has DEI Poisoned The Supply Chain?'
You don't see any groups that are over- or under-represented? But that's not even the point of the post... which is the trend for clients to *demand* the companies they hire are a contrived rainbow coalition... regardless of many factors that will make that unlikely to happen organically.

Do people really need to wear masks at protests, to protect their jobs? We've sparked some good discussion on Linkedin, following the Dover and Portsmouth protests https://t.co/h2k4YE0n4z
@M4rtyman@rallen78 Yes... and the employment tribunal backlog is insane right now, so they'll wait YEARS for their case to be heard. 64,000 people ahead of them in the queue, according to @hwallop ! https://t.co/em6iI998j5
