@unapuckagetic @DukeTravancore The fact is that God exists and created morality. Morality isn’t some external thing He is beholden to. Therefore God must be perfectly good. Knowing this, it seems very natural that we’d want to look to God to provide revelation about good and evil.

If God wanted slaves, He would have made them. But he would rather you choose him out of your own free will and love for goodness.

Because of that do you presume yourself above God, and think reality should be some other way? Do you think God made a mistake giving you free will?

@jsvcamel @AlcuinPress I think a lot of secular people fall into the Existentialist camp, and they believe that it’s up to us to create meaning in our lives. Therefore they think there’s no intrinsic meaning to the universe. It’s really just up to their own feelings and moods.
