@MarkZinno Can't just wait to pay/accumulate players once you have a QB. There were 9 TEs with at least 700 yards last year. Pitts was one of them and near the top of the list. Pay him, move on, see what Penix/Tua can do at QB.
@CThomasRadio Spotrac says ATL has 3rd most '27 cap space at 109m. Let the team do team business. Plenty of room to add a few guys from '26 on one year deals & add bigger names in FA of 27. Doing it now is cheaper, especially if Pitts has a repeat of 2025.
@BlueGeorgia Google/Ai tells me what I already knew...."The Obama Presidential Center was paid for entirely through private donations raised by the Obama Foundation..." Faux outrage for nothing π
@ScoutKennedy A lot of local media jumped on this idea of "he cant." It's always been easy for folks to dump on the Falcons. Even the home media. When Penix went down, all of a sudden every "negative" about him got magnified. What we saw was by design. Bad OC, HC & GM. Now they r all gone!
@CThomasRadio Over 6.5. Scott,MC and JT need to account for their BS. If the Falcons are tied for 29th SOS, that means other teams have it way worse, yet we r to believe our team which was in a 3 way tie for the div last year has no shot in 2026? That's crazy. The math doesn't math.
@theblockspot Every time I see something about underrated NFL players, I say Roddy White. 6 straight seasons over 1100 yards receiving. T.O, Fitzgerald, Calvin never did that.
@MikeBellATL I don't think they need to. If he is out there mid-Aug, basically two weeks into camp, that should be fine. May not start the season, but could definitely be ready week 5. Realistically, that is a fairly good situation given the late nature of the injury in 2025.
@RiseUpReader Said it on Falcons message board. Allgeier is not a 1A RB. Not in the Bijan, Gibbs, Saquon, D. Henry class of RBs. More of a Rico Dowdle/David Montgomery type. Dynamic run game needs a dynamic back. π€·πΎββοΈ
@FrazierDerekJr@RiseUpReader Let's be real. He isn't half the athlete Deablo is. I don't recall seeing him on any list of top 250 prospects.

@RiseUpReader@AndySlater Sounds great for ATL, but the guy obviously needs mentorship and help. He has to follow through, but if he doesn't get his issues sorted out, problems will continue.
@ATLSportsZone Pitts stays in my book. I don't like acquiring guys that will not b apart of our future. I don't see Super Bowl in 26 or 27. Njoku turns 30 soon, not a long term fix.
@929TheGame@tori_mcelhaney@CThomasRadio Not a fan of trading Pitts now. His nums were fine in '25. Maybe he can dupe in '26. WR room is bad as a group. Don't make it worse by trading Pitts. If you want more picks, flip #48 & #79 by finding a partner to trade down with in each round. Forgo whomever at #48.
@MikeBellATL Vrabel should get heat, but honestly, owners/GMs don't care as long as it's not a felony. Media members will likely be held to higher personal conduct standards.
Shouldn't be the case, but it has been this way for a while. Coaches/Players get slack b/c of how rare they are.
@DukesandBell929@putemupcdukes@MikeBellATL I put WR ahead of DT. Need a DT to play in rotation with Ruke and Dorlus. I don't think that has to be a top 50 type player. Chris McClellan, Demonte Capehart, Zavian Harris will do. We need a talented WR to be a #2. Find me this year's Rasheed Rice, DK Metcalf, George Pickens
@steakshapiro Our very own Roddy White. If he played anywhere else, he would be a bigger name. Over 10,000 career receiving yards. 6 years straight of 1100+ yards receiving. He could run and was physical.
@MikeBellATL@AtlantaFalcons I'm a bigger fan of flipping 48 and 79 for more picks. Psychologically, if u can get over who u pass up, moving back 5 to 10 spots with each pick could net u additional picks in the 110 to 130 range. I think there will be a ton of good players at great values there. Just me.
