@jersey_girlblog I'm so sorry lovely. Last night's announcement was depressing and frustrating. We're due to have our 2nd baby in 2 weeks and I'm dreading going to the hospital and sad we can't see anyone until March! Fingers crossed for brighter days in mid Feb! Xx
@NotSylviaT @devisridhar Yes please address this. Especially for vulnerable staff. I'm pregnant, got asthma and from the BAME community and according to guidance I'm supposed to teach a class of 30 children within 2m where possible (it's not) with no Ppe. This doesn't feel safe to me.
This is your Health Secretary claiming he’s changing the law to allow nurses and pharmacists to administer flu jabs
But the truth is both roles have been doing exactly that for years and years
Please RT if you think he should’ve known that already
How did France grade its Covid-year students ?
Taking the average of 1st + 2nd term marks, always rounding "up" and creating 10 000 extra university places
No negative algorithms
France levels up. Johnson talks about it but does the very opposite

To this year’s A-level students. You have been robbed of your future by an algorithm. The tech dystopia many of us have been warning about is here. You’re it. Your data was used to profile you without your consent. This is not ok. Be furious. Fight back
R is our school's top English student. She got 9 at GCSE. She got A at AS. She is studious, precise, deeply thoughtful. She has just had her A Level grade reduced from A* to C, apparently just because she goes to a disadvantaged school. It might help if you liked her poem.
We are so ill-informed in England.
@NicolaSturgeon stood up and told her nation today that there were 52 new COVID-19 cases with 27 in Grampian HB, 13 in Glasgow HB, 269 people in hospital (+2 new) and 3 in intensive care.
What do we get? Nothing... I think we deserve better!
MP salary:
April 2010 = £65,700
April 2019 = £79,500
An increase of 21%
2% above inflation ⬆️
Nurses starting salary:
April 2010 = £21,200
February 2020 = £24,200
An increase of 14%
5% below inflation ⬇️
Please RT if you agree that simply isn’t fair

This, in today’s Times, is sickening. The govt has already abandoned care homes once. Now they are at it again.
Weekly testing, promised with fanfare a month ago, is *still* not in place. Now - maybe - planned for Sept.
Our most vulnerable citizens - ignored & abandoned. Again.
This is possibly the best thing I have seen on Twitter, ever. To all the anti-vax, anti-mask, anti-everything people, this is the logical conclusion of “freedom”. Please read it. All of you.
After more than 17 weeks and 75+ million views, tomorrow will be the last #PEWithJoe 😔 It's been the most incredible journey and one I will never forgot ❤️
Let’s make it a BIG one 🙏🏼
Please RT so we can get more people involved 🙏🏼

Boris Johnson has been urged to follow the “elimination strategy” pursued by Nicola Sturgeon, to drive down cases to as close to zero as possible https://t.co/1IEZKAcUV6
