I hate deathbed scenes where they talk about how important the info is and they promised they would tell the right person and then the person shows up and the dying person rambles for 5 more minutes even after being asked for the info and then they die without giving the info.

I planned a random outing, so the youngest could get together with his friends because they all go to different high schools and don't see each other as often. It was misconstrued as a birthday event even though they came to his birthday celebration in May. We now have gifts.
