@TAlong1979 @jess_starlinz @RonFilipkowski You're only partly correct. The banjo was African. Much of the bluegrass style was conceived in multiracial settings of poor Scotch Irish playing alongside Black musicians. Country music, like rock n roll, owes a great deal to blues as well.
