Is the primary on different dates? I believe you're supposed to cure your ballot if you move before (any, primary or general) election day.

I hated mailin when I first moved to Seattle. Up until election day, I was looking up how to vote in person, upset about how (unlike Boise) I couldn't just stop by city hall to vote two weeks early. Then I dropped off my ballot on election day, at the dropbox next to the Bellevue library, and it felt like the fourth of July. So many people driving haphazardly to rush out their car and leave their ballot in the drop box. We were all a part of America.

But I still hate it! They might do some weird shit like "signature validation". "Signature validation" is the most boomer talking point, I can't believe anyone let's old people mention it, I hate it. I would donate a pint of blood if it let me prove I'm allowed to vote, and mail in ballots seem designed for the opposite of that.
