Being able to do all the mixtures that do NOT work, without all the washing up involved, makes the order easier to understand. It also allows extension to zinc and silver. Bring a magnet closer to the magnesium/iron(II) sulfate reaction and see the "attracion" of the method!

Here is a wider range. Titriation has a dilution effect. The dyes also react with mtal ions too. Oxalis not so good here, except with Cr(III). Every flower is a discovery. From the @CLEAPSS microscale stable. And here is @CrocodileChemi1 version of the RSC Logo in puddles.
