Last Thursday, our year 9 students visited Missionsgymnasium St. Antonius #Bardel in Bad Bentheim together with year 3 from the bilingual department @stedelijklyceum. Here they participated in a Public Speaking Competition and one student from @istwente made it to the finale!

Today our pupils @istwente Primary participated in the National #Buitenlesdag, during which lessons took place outside on the school grounds. It was a great day of learning and we even had beautiful weather!

@istwente Secondary our year 10 and #IBDP 1 students focused on #sustainable #energy sources. Four groups each picked one specific type to advocate by creating posters and holding 'elevator-pitches' in the afternoon. The audience voted team #windenergy the winner of Pitch day!

Today, @istwente #Secondary hosted a #tryout for the pupils in year 5 and 6 from our #Primary location. The children were introduced to several subjects by means of mini-classes in #PE, #English, #Art, #Math and #Physics and concluded the morning with a delicious lunch!

Last week, our year 7, 8 and 9 students @istwente Secondary learned about #SemanaSanta; the “Holy Week” before #Easter which is celebrated in #Spanish speaking countries. The students created a procession of people wearing the distinctive cloaks, #nazarenos and #mantillas

Today @istwente Primary participated in #NLdoet, the annual National weekend of Volunteers in The Netherlands. The students joined the other volunteers in a new garden, just around the corner of the school, and had a great experience with gardening 🌸🌱🐛
