@tricycleninja@Wario64 That's a decent approach as well. I could probably adopt that. I've been trying to introduce my kids to older games as well though and it's pretty hard explaining the X button on PlayStation is A on Xbox and B on Nintendo, etc. since they didn't grow up playing those consoles.
@tricycleninja@Wario64 Thanks. I'm aware of that one but prefer the offset analog sticks for comfort. What I really want is for the swappable buttons to be "smart" so the controller mapping updates when you move them around - rather than just showing a different letter. That'd be a killer feature.
@soccerj75@DerKanzler62281@Wario64 You must be responding to the wrong person. Neither of us bought it. But just so you're aware, all you have to do is add those other games and front ends as non-steam games and they'll work with the new controller. I sometimes launch BigBox through Steam Big Picture just because.
@Wario64 We used to get a surprise retro re-release around May 4th each year. Sadly, not even @AspyrMedia seems to be bringing anything out this year. Still waiting patiently for someone to realize all the gaping holes like Rogue Squadron to be filled.
@johnL_99@AsmilaJ@thedaywar90 "Donating his time" - last I checked, his golf bill alone is burning through tax dollars at a phenomenal rate. And you want to talk about $50 million on travel? How about the Billions (with a B) that Trump and his family have accrued from his time in the oval office?
@WaitedCloth8140@xgramiliki The difference is the overall placement of the sticks. An asymmetric layout is fine, so long as the sticks are toward the front of the controller and not the back. Steam Deck is a great ergonomic example of asymmetric sticks.
