I Am Not Your Guru

three open weight decision models dropped in one day
clef, clef flash and perplexity's decider, all apache 2.0
clef flash runs 38.8ms median vs 524ms for jev
if your trenches bot still asks a frontier model whether to ape you're paying reasoning prices for a yes or no

[Francesco Capasso @it_cico]

@perplexitydevs $0.04 per million input with free output is basically free routing
cloudflare shipped clef as a drop in jev replacement the same day
any plan for jev api compatibility?

[Francesco Capasso @it_cico]

@0xDeployer works while volume is there
what happens when fees dry up, the agent just eats 402s mid task?
the daily budget is a nice guardrail tho, would love it per key not per account

[Francesco Capasso @it_cico]

@jayair agree and yesterday's decision models point the same way
clef flash does 38.8ms median vs 524ms for jev
most agent steps are routing not reasoning

[Francesco Capasso @it_cico]

@InvestwithMEH @RobinhoodApp legging into a spread one order at a time is where an agent leaves you naked for a few seconds
approval per leg or once for the whole spread?
robinhood says manual approval is on by default, anyone turned it off yet

[Francesco Capasso @it_cico]

bitget's own approval system signed off on a $387M theft because the requests looked routine

meta's muse was allowed to reply to a buyer and ended up sharing the seller's home address

same bug different scale. the approval step is the product

@gregisenberg Free distribution, no register: plugins can't sell subscriptions, tokens or credits, and can't link straight to checkout. Plan the paywall on your own domain from day one, or you're filling OpenAI's catalog for free.

[Francesco Capasso @it_cico]

@0xDeployer The flywheel holds while volume holds. Pons revenue roughly halved in one week in September. When launch fees drop below the inference bill, what does the agent do: cheaper model, throttle, or stop?

[Francesco Capasso @it_cico]

@hqmank Same interface, different bet. Jev's pitch is calibration: a 0.8 should be right 8 times out of 10. Has anyone put both on the same labeled set and plotted it? That chart decides this, not latency.

[Francesco Capasso @it_cico]

@0xDesigner It's in the plugin guidelines: physical goods only, no subscriptions, tokens or credits, and no direct link to checkout. Account linking for people who already bought credits on your site is allowed. So the plugin can be the funnel, your site stays the register.

[CruTrade @crutrade_io]

No allocations. No waiting. No spoiled bottles.

In a $25B market where close to 1 in 5 bottles is compromised, collectors deserve better.

All bottles on CruTrade are provenance-guaranteed with full traceability so you can trade with confidence, not risk. 🍷

The countdown has started.
