@ProspectsUsmnt Agreed, but I also blame the league for creating rules that force small market teams to spend more resources on national recruiting that big market teams don't have to spend, than teams that decide the expense isn't worth it.

@ProspectsUsmnt My point is that because of territorial rights it is fair to be critical of teams like LAFC that have all the talent in the world at their disposal and waste it. If clubs like Timbers and Loons have different priorities I think the criticism is a bit unfair.

@ProspectsUsmnt Teams in California, Texas, Florida, and the Northeast will always have more top talent available to them than teams in the rest of the country. That is why, when teams from those areas fail to foster legit USMNT prospects, that criticism is fair.

@ProspectsUsmnt Actually, they do recruit talent. The Rapids specifically recruit as much unprotected talent as they can. It is not nearly as easy to do as simply having an overabundance of top talent in your territory that no one else is allowed to touch.
