@HMRCcustomers It says 522L, but I still believe its wrong, should I call up HMRC?

@HMRCcustomers I had a break in employment from 1 Nov 2024 to 26 May 2025. During this time, my tax code changed from 1257L to 522L. Now that I'm working again in the new tax year, should my tax code automatically revert to 1257L? I believe I'm currently on the wrong code.

@HMRCcustomers 522L CUMUL is currently being used, but I believe its the wrong tax code. This payslip was recent as of 27th May 2025.

Baring in mind, I have returned to work on the 27th of May 2025

@HMRCcustomers Hi Amandine, yes — it’s the same job. I was on unpaid leave from Nov 2024 to May 2025 (was still on there payroll but not being paid) and got PAYE refunds. Now I’m back and being paid — should my tax code revert to 1257L automatically? Thanks!

@TfL This happened around 2100 to 2110 as I believe you can see this from the footage at Plaistow station

@TfL I tapped in my contactless using my iPhone at Euston Square station and couldn’t tap out at Plaistow station since all the Oyster card machines weren’t working. The guy working for tfl told us that we just have to go through. Will I get refund as I believe I’d get charged more?

@TfL I got a question. I have a flight to Heathrow Terminal 4. Can I get there from Stratford station to Heathrow ? As it says reduced services so not too sure if I can get there by train
