she seriously knows how to build characters with actual substances and traits, with their strength, fears and flaws. i think the best thing about these books is how every character feels real and surprises you with small little details.

i’ve set my 2025 new year resolution as just to have good quality sleep. but now i want to add one more. too read books again. not just art and design books i’ve been reading the past years. i want to get back to reading fictions again.

it’s slow paced and i enjoyed it. the only complaint i have is the abundance of background stories. i think most of them do serve a purpose but sometimes, it makes me feels like we’re going on a mission to insert as many myths as well possible.
