We need to check macroeconomic factors as well, right now global stock market is ~$150T, to reach even 30 and estimating around $220T for global market, this would mean 14% of stock market in 5 years. All tech advances you mentioned like hotels in space realistically they could happen in 10 years or longer, while other even more, so it possibly reaches 3-5T range in 5 years
The article doesn’t position this car well. Author thinks that the current lineup they hit the sales limit and need to look for other buyer groups but for decades Ferrari artificially limited production size so if they would expand their current lineup to double the numbers they would still sellout without a problem.
Sure it is not Ferrari, Ive took all blueprint ideas from "Apple" car they decided not to move forward and sold it to highest bidder. What you can see is a generic mass produced design that fits Apple design language. Whole idea around this car is to buy next model and throw away old one, this is not a collector's car as all previous models were. Ive cannot understand this as he designed consumables not some permament art of craftmanship.
It is not about nostalgia, it is about craftmanship that people don't feel here, the interior and exterior looks like coming of production line not handmade. All the curves are flat same as production cars which are due to machining process to mass produce panels. In few months only thing will change is the designers looking for new job. Worst part they are saying they are looking into the future yet Jony Ive is only looking into the past, he did this already with Apple taking all design ideas from Braun products 70-80 years old, and here again is using the same approach for a car.
@JasonVayanos@Jason There will be no need to preown multiple of them and have been client for decades. I am curious how much of this design is actually taken from mythical Apple car project and just rebadged it as Ferrari. The designer is the same, interior UX is same
Every Ferrari was collectors dream, you can drive 50 years old one and repair it while what will happen with this one in 5-10 years. Batteries will be depleted, all modern electronics outdated and hard to find replacement. It will be outdated as soon they start selling it and for over half a million euros. We also probably will never see any cup racing for this model created as performance is based on short bursts and that’s it.
Guess what brand is this car. Probably saw yellow logo on it. It’s a Ferrari. The first one that won’t be collectors item as the car will be technologically outdated in few years and in 2 decades there won’t be any battery or electronics available to replace it. A small switch or display will make whole car worth over half million euros not drivable.
@MarioNawfal Volkswagen should do collab with own Lamborghini brand, they could earn a fortune putting raging bull logo on a Polo and charge 50k for it. It would be a hit.
We can already see how this is working out in software engineering, as AI helps to automate large part of coding and does speed up work 10x or even more. I haven't seen a single developer that would now need to work 1 day a week since he can be much more productive. Either they work even more or they got redundant
@CoachDanGo The concept of hamburger and preparing yourself is really healthy that's the truth, what is the problem is the ingredients and what kind of harmful things are put in the commercial operations. The one I do at home and I even do my versions of the buns
@paolino I have multiple small apps on same server can I run scheduled backup for all projects as a single setup or it needs to go through each project separately?
Computer Engineering graduates have the 2nd highest unemployment rate of any US major.
Only physics is worse.
Higher than philosophy. Higher than art history. Higher than journalism.
Let that sink in.

Big Tech new grad hires are now 7% of all new hires.
In 2023 it was 25%.
Before the pandemic it was 15%.
