The guidance foster kids receive during their time in care is paramount to how they go about their lives aftercare. The month of April- Child Abuse Awareness Month- is when we take extra care to learn how to be better advocates for foster youth.

During FBI raids around the U.S. in 2013, 60% of the child victims recovered from sex trafficking were from foster care.
Foster kids are especially vulnerable to every kind of abuse. That's why it is up to us to be aware of the statistics and keep an eye out for abuse signs.
