🇬🇧 Revolut got tricked by a FAKE government request and handed over sensitive customer data.
The attacker reportedly used an email address from a legitimate government agency domain, which was enough to pass Revolut’s checks.
What followed was a serious haul: names, dates of birth, contact details, passports, verification selfies, account statements and full transaction histories, including Bitcoin records.
Now the attackers are reportedly publishing some of it online and threatening to release more every day until Revolut pays.
Revolut says only a limited number of customers were affected, its systems were never hacked and customer funds remain safe.
Revolut basically fell for the oldest trick in the scammer’s playbook: pretend to be someone official and ask nicely.

🚨🇺🇸 INSANE: The U.S. dollar has lost 97%(!!) of its purchasing power since 1913...
That's the year the Federal Reserve was created.
The Federal Reserve Act was meant to establish a system to stop financial panics and stabilize the economy...
But here's the reality: a $3 item in 1913 costs $100 today.
If a private company did this, it'd be called the biggest Ponzi scheme in human history...
