Remember, the Libertarian Party is once again committed to achieving ballot status in 50-states plus DC. And the new Libertarian National Committee just raised the 2026 ballot access budget from $0 to $82,500! But...

We're providing funds for two drives, Maryland and Massachusetts. Let me tell you what's at stake in each state, and what we need to finish the job.

Maryland

This state requires 10,000 signatures, but there's GOOD NEWS! The Maryland LP has already collected the basic 10k requirement!

But don't get too confident. Those signatures will be examined and challenged. Some will be declared invalid. We must collect a cushion.

That's where the national LP comes in. We're committed to funding those extra signatures. This is a great use of money because...

This petition gets us party status both in 2028 and 2030! We must collect and turn in these signatures after July 1. So please donate now! Link in the comments!

Please also understand that there is a danger...

The longer we wait to get the needed cushion, the more signatures will start to go bad as people move, and if we wait until November, some signatures collected at the start of the drive will become invalid. So let's get this job done now!

Massachussets

This is a huge opportunity! This petition will put Al Ozonoff on the ballot to run for auditor. If Al gets 3% of the vote, then the LP is automatically qualified for the ballot in 2028! And there's more good news!

There is no Republican in this race, so Al is almost guaranteed to meet or exceed 3%. But first, we must get him on the ballot. It's a big signature requirement, and it all has to be done by July 28th!

Hello. Let me introduce myself.
My name is Dru Koester.
You haven’t heard of me before, and that’s okay. I didn’t come from any fancy ivy league schools or gated communities. I don’t backpack in Europe or belong to any clubs that require jackets & pedigrees… Nothing wrong with those things; in fact, they’re pretty nice. (Life is meant to have wonderful experiences, after all.)

But that’s just not where I come from — I’m from a farm in the heart of Eastern Montana.
I grew up “riding the ditch” with my dad to check tubes on the sugar beet fields.
Eating peas from my mom’s garden while the insects sang loudly on summer nights.
Or climbing snow drifts in winter so high we could step right onto our garage roof…

As a teen, I attended a small class C school at the base of the Crazy Mountains and spent hours driving down dirt roads in a GMC Suburban or driving down dirt rows in a red International, listening to the radio endlessly loop Reba and George.

My roots in this incredible state are deep, growing generations back.
I know what it’s like to work in a field from sun up to sun down.
I know how to build, not to take.
And I know what it means to be a part of Montana, the greatest state in the Union, from the prairies to the mountains, to the fairgrounds, to the national parks (Yellowstone is ours, btw.)

I care about this state, my very large hometown, and I love and care about the community in Helena, full of some of the best people you’ll ever meet.

As a business owner, homeschool mom, pro-peace, free market enthusiast, I’m very concerned about the direction of our country…
I’d like to be a nation at peace.
I’d like my children and grandchildren to be able to afford a home in our local town and not be forced to move away… or at least afford a trip to the ER, for goodness sakes!
I’d like justice to be served across the board, whether someone is powerfully connected or not… and the courts not be tied up with petty, victimless crimes.

I’m running for SD41 because I believe in peace. I believe in prosperity. And I believe in justice.
And thus far neither party has been producing any of those things, despite decades of alternating power between the two.

I don’t claim to have all the answers but I will tell you this:
-I’m not a politician, &, quite frankly, we’ve had our fill of those…
-I’ll never lie to you; I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror if I did.
-I’ll never try to steal from you to fund a pet project; as a Montanan, I understand the concept of private property rights & know your best chance at prosperity is the government keeping its sticky hands OUT of your pockets.

In the senate, I’d represent YOU — I’m dyed-in-the-wool Libertarian after all, which means I don’t have pesky party loyalty hang-ups: my loyalty is to YOU, my neighbors. My community. Not party lines or dirty political favors.

Over the course of this campaign, I’ll be sharing bills that I plan to sponsor/introduce if I beat the Democrat in the race (won’t know who that will be until after primaries.) I’m eager to hear suggestions/ideas of what the public would like to have passed (or, better yet, REPEALED) in the upcoming legislative session.

Ballot Access Update: Secretary of State, Dale Caldwell modified ALJ Courtney's ruling and accepted my nominating petition to be on the ballot in 2026. Thank you @DaleCaldwell for protecting equal access to the ballot.

The Republican State Committee tried to kick me off the ballot. They thought I'd be ill prepared, unsupported and back down. They thought wrong 💋

Today was a win for the first amendment. A win for political speech. Congratulations to all the voters in District 7. You now have another choice on your ballot.

Thank you to Joseph Fortunado Esq, all the Libertarians, Greens, Independents and others who helped connect me to the right people and to the right information to achieve ballot access.

This affects us all. While today was a win, the question still remains, why is there a statute on the books that judges are compelled to enforce despite it being ruled unconstitutional over and over again? A statute that results in frequent modification, reversals and rejection by the Secretary of State. Does the State of New Jersey prefer to keep wasting the courts time? Do they want to continue burdening candidate campaigns that are already at a disadvantage? Why hasn't statute R.S.19:13-7 been amended to reflect accepting out of state circulators?

I will be reaching out to our legislatures to rectify this.

Your choices were almost limited this year. I was almost kicked off the ballot not because my petition was fraudulent, misleading or deficient but because they wanted to play games with technicalities to guarantee maintaining power. How many other candidates in the past had similar experiences but with a different outcome? Remember that when you fill out your ballot in 5 months.

To paraphrase Mr. Fortunado in court on Tuesday "The two parties spend more of their budget kicking third parties off the ballot than third party candidates spend on their entire campaign."

Think about what that actually means.

We are in our final 4 week push for signatures to get the Hyperacale Data Center Ban Amendment on the November ballot.

We need 413,000 signatures and have to over shoot. Every signature is verified with Ohio Voter rolls.
