Our 4th graders had the best time exploring Rio Bosque today! Shoutout to @FLAlliance_EP and our amazing friends at Rio Bosque Park for making it such a cool experience!
We had birdwatching with binoculars, a fun scavenger hunt, and even got to check out water samples under a microscope — how cool is that?!

Our students had an unforgettable lesson on weather and climate, thanks to the amazing Jayanga Samarasinghe from @UTEP 🌍⚡ He not only shared his expertise but also brought a professional weather station to demonstrate how scientists collect real-time weather data. 🌡️🌬️📡

To top it all off, our students built their own wind vanes to understand wind direction firsthand! 🎉💨 And in an incredible act of generosity, Jayanga gifted the weather station to our academy—a resource that will continue to inspire and educate for years to come.

A huge THANK YOU to @UTEP and @SciencesUtep for providing these amazing learning experiences for our students. Your support helps bring environmental science to life in the most engaging way! 🙌🔬
