You ask yourself: “If I leave it, who will trade it, yet I’m the one who discovered it?” That makes you stick to it.

Even if you lose, as long as you know it works, you stay calm. Once you make your own strategy, it becomes really hard to abandon it.

It becomes hard to doubt because you tested it and have a sample size. You appreciate yourself for building something that works.

I finally joined the pieces together and formulated my own strategy. You really don’t know how it feels trading with your own strategy. The confidence is very high.

Many traders end up interfering with their strategy, trying to add something new, yet simplicity is the key.

Unlike traders who haven’t experienced this, many keep comparing, thinking there is always a better strategy out there. That mindset leads to doubt and strategy hopping.

Despite everything, I found peace through it all. I discovered there is no perfect strategy. So even if I see a new one, I don’t rush to learn it.

I came back prepared. I was never in a hurry to become profitable early. I understood the cost of this journey and was prepared, no matter how long it would take.

I moved from mentor to mentor as a trader without guidance. I accumulated a lot of knowledge but had no results. Still, I don’t regret it, no matter how long I took or how much time I wasted.

Even when I saw them profitable, I still thought I was missing something. I started with Support & Resistance, then after giving up, resumed with ICT, then MNSR, CRT, and later tried Moving Averages.
