@tothemoon0978 I am sorry, but the game itself criticizes you for picking Maelle. She loses herself in the painting, just like her mother.
It's an awful choice to sacrifice that world, but that's the beauty of the game.
@GatsuTaZe Agreed, I was baffled by how many adults adore that book? Like I get if you are 15 and you think it's awesome, but at 24?? Such a derivative of all the YA that came before it.
@i0ki_LoL Feels like a last second monetization/player retention play from some dumb suit.
Could have had old skins as unlockables/ but we get this instead.
@DShyKnock I was one of them, frankly. I thought it would be too disruptive and not what the focus of pro play should be. I was wrong. Not only has it made pro play much more enjoyable to watch, it has also relieved the LoL balance team to focus on the regular player experience.
@DShyKnock I am a lifetime LoL eSports viewer and I was at IEM Cologne. I don't play CS2 at all. The venue was electric, nothing like I've ever seen from a Riot tourney. It feels like Riot is making some prestige product for Emmy nominations rather than meeting fans where that are
@KdeKercy The writing definitely fell off a bit, and so did the pacing. An example I think of is just how quickly the 'nature over form' line payoff. Similarly with Atreus and 'steeling his heart'.
I used to not end games in ARAM Mayhem, let the enemy scale, have fun, fight back. But what do they do when they get on top, they spit in my face and end the game right away. No honor left on the bridge
@shinobi602 Baffling decision, till this date the only game that's PS5 exclusive is the incredible Demon Soul's remake. Forget the potential remakes, I wanted them to tackle a fresh IP.
@WendlerTV@doc_respawn I think the only thing that went right at launch for Overwatch 2 was that the sequel sparked interest. A lot of my friends returned to it.
If you have even dipped your toes into Cyberpunk, you will realize how derivative the game is. There was so much opportunity to push the genre forward, reimagine certain concepts, but they fell back on the tried and tested stuff.
@LavenderGhast It's also very derivative of existing Cyberpunk worlds. Once you read Hyperion, Neuromancer, etc. you see that they have barely innovated on the genre.
@LavenderGhast Exploration is also so one-note. Either you are getting a million calls for side quests on random gangs are shooting you. No off-roading with vehicles either.
@Press_X_Fool@LavenderGhast The "sell" of the game was to be a true RPG, similar to the table top game. There is very little roleplaying, your background and choices rarely affect anything.
