That's who you're choosing. And still most people date like they're casting a movie. Do they give me butterflies? Are they exciting? Is their chemistry cool?Butterflies aren't gonna matter when life punches you in the face and when that day comes, you will not care how charming they were on the first date. You'll care whether they stayed, you'll care whether they showed up, you'll care if they made the effort and they made the unbearable feel bearable. When India accidentally wiped out its vultures, half a million people died in five years.

The bird doing zoomies in this video runs the most extreme digestive system in the animal kingdom. Vulture stomach acid sits near pH 1, strong enough to destroy anthrax, rabies, and botulism in the carcasses they eat. A flock strips a cow to bone in about 45 minutes.

India had 50 million of them. Free sanitation at national scale, in a country where religious custom means most cattle die natural deaths and every dead cow becomes a carcass someone has to deal with.

Then the patent on diclofenac expired in 1994. Farmers started using the cheap painkiller on livestock. Trace amounts left in a carcass cause kidney failure in vultures. Within a decade, 50 million birds fell to a few thousand. The fastest collapse of any bird species since the passenger pigeon.

The carcasses didn't disappear. Feral dogs took the vultures' place and brought rabies with them. Rotting remains leached into waterways. In districts where vultures once thrived, human death rates rose more than 4 percent. Economists at Chicago and Warwick put the toll at 100,000 extra deaths a year and $69 billion in annual damages.

So yes, the goofy bird sprinting down the walkway is adorable. It's also a disease firewall that evolution spent millions of years building and one generic painkiller nearly erased in ten.

you can be an amazing person and get punished your whole life for it or you can be a horrible person and get rewarded for it. the only thing that matters is your energy and where it goes and everything, i mean everything, is trying to take away your energy.

politics, news, money, your favorite show, your favorite sports team, clubs, political movements, fifa, social media, all of these are like entities that need your energy in order to survive. whether you give them hate or love, it doesn't matter. what matters is they took your energy and there are horrible people on this planet that benefit from these entities & they will poke you in every single direction until they get a reaction.

you can love them, hate them, go to war with them, it doesn't matter cos they already took your energy.

the worst part is they will take it and they will live a life that is 10x better than yours even if you are a good person and they're not. so the only real skill in life is protecting where your energy goes. a lot of people still aren't going to understand this tweet anyway.

but just share it aggressively to help others understand the mechanics and dynamics of life.

and the strategy is so potent it's invisible to the people it serves.

bros walk into a club and see a room full of beautiful women - they do not see the engineering behind it.

i.e. the women get free entry, the men pay the cover, the women drink cheap cocktails, the men buy bottles.
the women are the attraction, the men are the revenue and the club owner, sitting in the back office, watches the cash flow and smiles.

the same principle applies everywhere, not just nightclubs.

let me walk through some of how this works outside the club.

take dating apps for example.

the apps know that men will go where the women are so they recruit women aggressively.
they offer them premium features for free and show them the most attractive men first, they create an environment where women feel comfortable, valued, and abundant.

then the men arrive. but they don't give them shite for free - they have to pay (they pay for boosts, for super likes, for premium subscriptions cus they are chasing the women the app has carefully curated)

in plain terms, the app gives less of a fuck about the men, all it cares about is the economics.
women are the product, men are the customers, and the app is the middleman.

even social media.

the platforms know that men will follow women, so they promote female content. they amplify the fuck out of it, making it easy for women to build audiences cus they know that a beautiful woman with a large following will attract men - and those men will engage.

the woman builds her brand so she doesn't mind being used as bait for male attention.
she is the product, the platform is the vendor, the men are the buyers.

everywhere, it is the same pattern:
restaurants that attract women attract men
gyms that attract women attract men
events that attract women attract men
even neighborhoods, cities... you name it

in all of this tho, your biggest mistake would be thinking the women are victims, not participants.

54 million people subscribe to Speed for free. To watch him stream a World Cup match, they have to pay FOX $20 a month.

That gap is the whole story. Speed's World Cup match streams live on FOX One, a $19.99/month service sold through YouTube's Primetime Channels storefront. The free channel everyone pictures, the one with the IRL streams and the barking, has nothing to do with it. FOX owns the English-language rights to all 104 matches. Speed owns none of them. He's the watch-along.

Here's the clever part. FOX One carries the exact same 104 games as YouTube TV's Sports Plan. Same feed, same matches. The one thing FOX One has that the cable bundle doesn't: the option to watch the game with Speed. That's the entire pitch. The creator is the differentiator.

Now look at who he reaches. 54 million subscribers. Peaks of 1 to 2 million concurrent on a regular IRL stream. An audience that skews heavily to teenage boys, the single demographic legacy sports broadcasters have spent 20 years failing to convert into paying customers.

FOX has tried to sell live sports to young men through ad reads and halftime promos for a decade. It never worked, because that audience cut the cord before they ever held it. Speed walks them straight to the checkout page.

Run the funnel. If even 1% of a 1 million viewer co-stream subscribes for a single month, that's 10,000 subs at $20 off one game. The conversion rate doesn't have to be big. The audience is.

The games were always going to air somewhere. What FOX bought was the one person who can march a million teenagers to a $20 checkout in real time. The most efficient acquisition channel on the internet, and it barks.
