Please pray for 47 year old husband and father of six Jeremy, facing a sudden early onset Alzheimer's diagnosis. Pray for his medical team and family. The Lord is a faithful shield. He is fully capable and bigger than this. Thank you.
Used to measure good days by deals closed.
Now it’s coffee with Angela, a slow walk, and remembering my son’s joke.
Alzheimer’s didn’t kill my ambition. It just changed the scoreboard.
What’s on yours?
I spent years chasing the next promotion, bigger paycheck, more.
Alzheimer’s at 47 made me wish for more time with my family.
I thought I was building a life for them. Too often, I postponed living it with them.
What’s your chase costing you?
Serious question. When you hear the word Alzheimer's, what's the first thing you picture? I'm curious because I've discovered that most people have a very different picture than my reality.
At 47, Alzheimer’s is changing what success looks like for me.
I used to chase promotions and bigger paychecks.
Now? More time with my family. More memories. Helping someone feel less alone.
Still ambitious. Just chasing different things.
Has your definition of changed?
I’m Jeremy. Diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s at 47.
Husband. Dad of six. Grandpa. Disney guy. Still me.
I’m sharing the struggles, little victories and humor along the way. Featured in People and Newsweek.
My story isn’t finished. Follow along. 💜
Never thought I’d be sharing this at 47.
I’ve officially been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
I don’t know exactly what this path looks like yet, but I’m going to keep living, loving, laughing and trusting God through it.
One step. One day. 💜
Sometimes we think strong faith means life should get easier.
But hard seasons still come. Fear still shows up. Questions still go unanswered.
Faith isn’t believing the storm won’t come.
It’s trusting that God is still there while you walk through it.
At 47, I never thought I’d be getting tested for Alzheimer’s.
I still don’t have a final diagnosis. But I’ve decided I’m not putting my life on hold while waiting for answers.
Here’s how I got here. 👇
103,000 jobs.
Gone from the original estimates.
The revisions were a bigger story than today’s headline.
Should the media wait before treating the first jobs report as breaking news?
