Trying to be as neutral as possible here. This is her dad so obviously she has a relationship and experience with him that no screenwriter will ever be able to capture. She seems to want things portrayed accurately instead of being dramatized…which is just unrealistic for a movie of this nature.

She mentioned they are trying to control his narrative. And shes right, thats kinda the whole point of doing the biopic boo...people already know MJ’s story, this go round is about vindication. We all know MJ had a very very very very controversial career and life. Regardless of how she feels about the script her saying “the movie is filled with inaccuracies” and “full blown lies”. Just gives the haters fuel for discrediting all aspects of the film (even the accurately portrayed portions) mind you a film which aims to give her dad a well deserved vindication.

I could be on her side if she felt like the film was portraying her dad in a negative light…but this statement doesnt read like that. It just seems like shes annoyed that a movie is a movie and not real life. Imagine the TM* headline: “MICHAEL JACKSONS DAUGHTER SAYS BIOPIC IS FILLED WITH INACCURACIES AND FULL BLOWN LIES” like girl there are ways to express your conflicts with the film but be mindful… cause this biopic more than likely teeters on a very thin line and we all are hoping and praying it tips to the well received side instead of the “this guy was a weirdo” side.
