#ScaryMovie is exactly the kind of anything-goes comedy that holds a special place in my heart, and the 6th installment gave me what I was wanting. The Wayans Brothers, Anna Faris and Regina Hall haven’t missed a step, bringing the same energy that help the film fully lean into its absurdity.

Not every joke hits buts it’s all stupid fun comedy that isn’t afraid to poke fun at everyone. The story takes a backseat to prioritize the nonstop stream of horror references and pop culture jokes. The parodies feel like a series of SNL skits than gags integrated into the story. But if you’re there to just roll with it (like me) you’ll have a VERY good time. It’s not on the level as the first two, but it leans into what it is and is not ashamed.
