Married in 2011, filed 498-A and 323 of IPC.

A little thereafter she filed 504, 506(b) against one Hanumesh.

Third she filed IPC sections 376 (rape on promiseof marriage), 420, 506 against one Santhosh

Fourth she filed in 2017 against Kumar Gaurav case under sections 376 and 420,

Sixth false case was filed in 2019 against one Manoj.

Seventh in 2020 was again for the same offence against one Mohammad.

The eighth case registered in 2020 against a policeman.

Ninth case was filed in 2021 against one Abhishek under 354, 417 of the IPC.

The tenth case which has come to the court now is against the latest husband and all members of the husband's family. A case under 498-A, 323, 504, and 506 of IPC.

The Court's remarks came in a petition for quashing a Section 498A case following a settlement between the wife and her husband, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. The court observed that even grandparents and bedridden individuals were being implicated in such cases and said that they don't appreciate this.

After quashing the case, the same Bench in 2022 had recommended that the Central government make the offence under Section 498A IPC compoundable.

Following this, the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development filed an affidavit, expressing that it would not be in the interest of women to make Section 498A IPC a compoundable offence.
In January this year, The High Court was informed that the State's bill could not be processed for want of requisite data.

The Bench had then directed the State to take steps to submit a fresh bill, incorporating additional data and addressing the anomalies pointed out by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. This exercise is yet to be done.
