@StephenFleming Mine is a city kid, takes the bus/train/Waymo. She has a permit, but there is no urgency because for the most part she can get where she wants to go. I grew up semi-rural and needed that license to get anywhere.
@californiapost I hate Culver City because they've made it confusing and difficult to drive there at all, but In'N'Out drive throughs are singularly terrible and I cannot blame them for not wanting this.
@bobbyfijan Buildings shall have both horizontal siding and vertical siding. The crummiest possible windows shall be used and be obscured by fences that look like tiny balconies.
@mattyglesias Could possibly buy into the property rights argument if it also enables owners to replace/convert multifamily buildings with/to single family homes.
@avivafashion11 My kid is about to turn 13 and has zero interest in carrying a purse -- I have to remind her to take her phone with her when she goes out. Birthday requests are eyeliner and Pokemon video games.
@UrbanCourtyard We had this in a new development suburb when I was growing up. The houses were just built and nobody could afford a fence or landscaping yet. Good soccer field.
