What’s in it for them, why are they acting like B-team of Hemant Soren?

Students in Ranchi have been grinding through this protest for two full weeks, organising, sustaining, building genuine momentum. Only now, when the movement is in its concluding stage and the popularity is undeniable, AISA and Neha Bora suddenly show up to hijack it.

From day one they were shut out of the stage. They were stopped from injecting their tired “Azadi” slogans. The actual student organisers refused to let them turn a local Jharkhand demand into yet another national circus. But the moment the protest gained massive acceptance and visibility, AISA decided it was the perfect time to insert themselves as the face of it.

We @eOrganiser reached to their stage and asked:

1. Why your marches are full of slogans supporting Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam?
2. Why the March was not taken to Vidhan Sabha?
3. What exactly are your demands?
4. Why aren’t you sitting with the actual students who have been here for two weeks?
5. Why do you keep dragging the caste of the protesting students into every statement?
