@jeremyunger1 @CarlinaRivera Thanks! Interesting read. I'll be following Germany's contact tracing app effectiveness closely. Not sure what location data would be used for in an app based solution. Before apps, location was used to determine proximity, but with apps proximity is measured by radio.

@CarlinaRivera Thanks for all of your work thoughout this pandemic. Are you suggesting that epidemiologists say app based tracing is ineffective without location data? I can't find a source.

Location data deanonymizes tracing since one can look at video at time + location.
