@AlbionKai03 When they say the worst thing you can be is a nazi and killing nazis is good, and then put the name and face of a 19 year old out there while calling him a nazi, there's a goal in mind.
I recently found out that I share the same first and last name with a 19 year old student at Cornell who is going viral (over ten million views across twitter and other platforms) for anti-Semitic comments that he made (and continues to make) to a prospective-employer.
My social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) and law firm email address are being blown up by people understandably angry at this other Austin Franco. None of the posts cross any legal lines, but unfortunately there have been comments and emails talking about me, my firm, my parents, etc.
To make matters worse, the undergraduate looks just enough like me to be confusing, and the NY Post, Fox News, and other publications, have written about it with his image as the article cover.
The bad Austin Franco is continuing to make these statements to media and on social media, so we wanted to go on the record disassociating me and the law firm from him.
I am hoping this post will alleviate some confusion for the general public.
I appreciate all the people who have reached out!
@funnygamedev Even at 5' 9" I've noticed people just start ignoring and talking down to me whenever I'm the shortest by 5+ inches
I can only imagine how hellish it would be to have that all the time
The contradiction in New Atheism was that its followers postured as freethinkers yet their skepticism would always halt before Leftist moral dogmas. The ones that continued questioning ended up on the Alt-Right, and the ones that didn't became SJWs.
At some level I want to be indignant about this, but TBH I have a hard time imagining spending four years at a US university and *not* becoming radicalized against the country, one way or another.
The incredible thing about this incident--considering all the elite outcry it has drawn--is that it's not an instance of 'public discrimination.' It's not as if a Jew was denied a table at a restaurant for their surname or passed over in a job interview for wearing a yarmulke.
A non-Jewish guy privately declined, albeit rudely, to work for a Jewish guy, citing his past experience with Jews, and is being vigorously blacklisted from ever working again.
What’s especially stunning is that the employer, after taking the time to dox the kid, continues to frame himself as the aggrieved party. People should be free to decide whom they work for, for whatever reason, without having their lives destroyed.
@HaruhiismOtaku On the other hand when you come back after living in Japan long enough you realize how long we spend just getting places. You really can't be counted as an adult in the US unless you own a car.
really cannot stand people who are obsessed with status. sounds obvious or trite until you realize an enormous amount of people on here fall into that category
“I always hated Sam Hyde.” No you didn’t. You were posting “these people want…” during the Biden era, just like everyone else, and before that, you were posting Hyde shooter memes, and 2070 references. You still post videos of Hyde laughing in his car, you still post edits of him driving down someone in an alley, you were reposting his address to Elon over H-1Bs, you reposted his episode about Charlie Kirk. Why can’t anyone on this site be honest about their motivations?
Free speech in America:
Call Blacks violent they’ll kill you
Say Jews try to destroy people’s lives they’ll try to destroy your life
Say women are cold and callous and they’ll demand you live your life lonely
Say Hispanics aren’t assimilated they’ll wave Mexico’s flag
Say a White person is evil nobody will do anything
I can’t imagine that we can live in a country where it’s okay to abuse one people and not others, or to abuse nobody in a society that fundamentally doesn’t get along
Free speech and liberal values simply don’t work in a society like America’s. We are rapidly heading towards that
@AquaticFlapper Any time you see a post like this, you can search "from:(username)" and add Charlie Kirk or Palestine/Israel and you'll almost always find them supporting terrorism and assassinations
They play on empathy to disarm you from their own violence
Manipulation, never take the bait
Have you ever tried talking to a 70% female group of 30-year-olds (the sort who’d work for unis) about whether IQ’s real, or whether high IQs are better than low IQs, or whether elite unis should favor high IQs? They all just agree you’re mean & “ignorant.” & they run admissions!
