Please study the Qur'ān. I beg you, don't just listen to the sweet voices or just read in Arabic. Study it in your preferred language and make sure to think over it.
Muslims are thinkers. Muslims are ponderers. Muslims are readers. Pleased read. Read Islamic contents. Read Islamic History. Read Islamic legislations. Please read, as a Muslim.
There's so much abundance of knowledge, nuance and guidance in this deen that will never be exhausted. And the fun fact is that all of them are derived from the Qur'ān. All with basis and rulings. This is why scholars derive immense depths and benefits from verses you would randomly skim past on a windy Tuesday evening.
Please, read the Qur’ān. Please. May Allah grant you steadfastness upon haqq.
"You say "Allahumma Salli 'ala Muhammad" daily.
But Salli (صلّي) doesn't mean "bless."
And when you learn what it actually means, you'll realize something extraordinary happens every time you say it.
"One Joy soap, two Peak milk and Ariel"
"One Joy soap, two Peak milk and Area"
"One Peak soap, two Joy milk and Area"
"One joy milk, Area soup and picture"
Dear Muslim women… scare your family a little this Ramadan.
Yes, I said it.
Let me explain.
Ramadan is not the month for you to become a martyr in the kitchen.
It is the month of Qur’an. The month of tears. The month of sujood that softens your heart.
Ego and empathy can’t coexist.
Empathy invites you into someone else’s world.
Ego forces everyone else’s world to revolve around you.
Empathy teaches you to serve others and to show them that they matter.
Ego teaches you that no one and nothing matters unless it serves you.
Allah will never make you pray for something that was never meant for you.
That's why the dua itself is already a sign because if He placed it in your heart to ask, it means He's already planning to give it to you, just in His perfect time. 🤍
One day, the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and Aisha (RA) had a small disagreement.
He said, "Let's bring someone to judge between us."
Aisha (RA) agreed and said,
"Okay, let it be my father, Abu Bakr (RA) "
When Abu Bakr (RA) came, the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)said, "Would you start first or should I?"
Aisha (RA) confidently replied, "You start - but only speak the truth."
