You’re using your platform to ask people why they’re still renting at 40, yet on that same platform, you’re seeing thousands of people talk about being laid off, losing jobs, or struggling to find work.
At least if you live in a country like Uganda, you should understand that life isn’t predictable. Some people had the money once. Some invested in businesses that failed. Some bought land that was grabbed from them. Some have never had the privilege of a stable, consistent income.
You don’t know people’s stories. Stop reducing someone’s entire life to whether they own a house by a certain age.
If I told you that you had to be somewhere at 7am to collect a cheque for a £1 million and if you were even 1 minute late you wouldn’t get it, you’d be there, in fact you’d probably get there early. You just don’t respect other people’s time enough which is a character flaw.
You should have things you don't do, places you don't go to, substances you don't take, words you don't say
By all means, have Principles and Standards.
In 2021, in the middle of Covid-19 lockdown, alone on duty, this nurse, Sylvia Nyangoma single handedly helped to deliver mothers of 126 babies, attended to 17 referral cases, and registered zero deaths at Bugoigo health centre II in Buliisa district.

I’m an eldest daughter which means I’m automatically irritated by your incompetence because I was never given room or grace to be imcompetent. I won’t be elaborating. The daughters who know get it.
“wym you didn’t start dating till your 20s i’ve been dating since middle school” ok so we are two different people who’ve lived two completely different lives
she just mouthed the word bra because my father and brother were in the room and apparently saying the term for an undergarment out loud is scandalous and rude and shameless
A 14 year old came into the clinic today with stomach cramps and bleeding.
She's pregnant.
Her parents came in with her and when they found out, her mother started screaming at her and her father was cursing her out. Both of them going at this child. And neither one of them, not once, asked who did this to her.
Not once.
My consultant asked them to leave the consultation room and they did.
I just need to sit with that for a second because I am struggling. She is 14. She is a child who came in with stomach cramps and is scared and bleeding and instead of anyone wrapping their arms around her the adults in her life are screaming at her like she is the one who did something wrong.
Someone did this to her. A grown man did this to her. And the entire energy in that room was directed at a 14 year old girl.
My consultant removed them and I wanted to stand up and........
i can’t stand going out with people who act like every outing needs male sponsorship 😭 babe if we can’t afford it ourselves then maybe we shouldn’t be there yet.
